OUR PURPOSE
Argo Christian Fellowship is a congregation whose members come in a variety of shapes, sizes races and socioeconomic backgrounds across the board.
The common thread that binds us together is that we all BELONG to this family of believers who place their faith and hope in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.
We BELIEVE that God calls us to come together as a body of believers in worship, prayer, the studying of His Word, and the sharing of the gospel. We view church the building as our gathering place; however, we understand that as the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we are called to be His church every day of the week no matter our physical location. What this means is that Argo Christian Fellowship is a place we meet to lay our burdens at His feet. To worship. To give. To serve. To draw closer to His presence. It’s our refueling station. As we meditate on God’s Word and He speaks to us directly in Spirit, we believe it is our duty to go out into the community and share The Good News.
Why? BECAUSE JESUS is worthy. We know that God has called each of us, and you, into this world for a particular reason. He has a plan for your life. A hope and a future. A purpose that only you were designed to fulfill. That should excite us. Perhaps He is calling you to lead a Bible study, go on a mission trip, serve in a soup kitchen, minister to those struggling with addiction, pray for the lost, seek out the weary, encourage the burdened. Whatever He is calling you to do, we trust that He makes no mistakes. That as we refuel in our physical church, He will provide opportunities for us to minister to the world effectively on any given day or night of the week.
Our goal is not to sell you on the biggest gym, the coolest activities or the most entertaining events. Our goal is to introduce God’s children to their Father. To affirm how much you are loved and wanted by Him. To encourage you that He has a beautiful plan for your life that no one else was created to fulfill. We want to help you figure out your talents and your spiritual gifts so that you can step boldly out into the world and do whatever it is that you were created to do, for His good and His glory.
