ACF began taking short term missions trips to Honduras in 2000. Through the years, these trips have consisted of construction, evangelism, food, clothing, dental and medical care.

Partnering with Doctors Edwin and Tirza Leon, we have seen God do amazing things in this country, and also in our own hearts. The medical arm of this missions effort has evolved into 15-20 Nurse Practitioner students from Samford University being a part of ministering in Honduras each Summer. In addition, we support the Leon’s financially each month. We also with national Pastor Dr. Roman Cruz and the Social Christian Ministries of Honduras. This effort is for improving the lives of the Honduran people by building churches, providing roofs, correct ventilation for stoves and proper latrines for individual homes. The Lord has used these trips to develop eternal relationships with ACF and the people of Honduras. We are so very excited to partner with Kristen Bruce in 2017 and watch God do many wonderful things through her new calling and ministry in Honduras.  Kristen will be taking a leadership role with a non-profit organization committed to wholistic community development and breaking cycles of poverty.  This is a brand new endeavor for her and we are excited to be able to support her ministry through funding and prayer.

Joe and Sharon Mayeux began New Life Ministries in Birmingham, Alabama in February 2005. They saw a need in the church for men and women, particularly married couples, to be challenged, strengthened and equipped as Christ’s disciples on a more personal level. Having both experienced divorce, re-marriage, and blended families, they feel that they understand and can help married couples avoid some of the pitfalls they’ve been through.
New Life Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Alabama. It is a community-wide ministry. They accomplish their vision through one on one life coaching, mentoring and discipleship, small group Bible study and accountability, and group marriage training. Their primary focus is to help married men and women focus on and cultivate their relationship with God through Jesus Christ and enrich their relationship with their spouse.

We are the McNeff family: Aaron, Chrissie, Trey, and Kiley. On May 8, 2014 we graduated from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. We were approved as BBFI Missionaries to the country of Argentina in May of 2014. We believe, without a shadow of a doubt, that God has called us to the country of Argentina to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people there. Argentina has a population of almost 43 million people with 92% of those people steeped in traditional Roman Catholicism. Of those 92%, only 20% percent call themselves practicing Catholics.

With four facilities serving greater Alabama, these men and women’s centers deal with individuals who struggle with addiction. They help those who voluntarily check in to the centers deal with their addictions through the power of God and His Word. Each Christmas ACF takes up a special offering, in addition to our monthly support, to help fund these tremendous ministries.
